Free phone calls to India from Gtalk!

Disclaimer: I am totally ignorant of the legal issues related to this method. The purpose of this post is to reveal the existence of such a service.

Follow these steps and you could make free phone calls to any place in world

1. add service@splinter.net to your friends list from gtalk.[Your friend request will be automatically accepted.]
2. in chat window for service@splinter.net, type CALL x , where x is the phone number you want to call [ eg: 911234567890]

How it works:
When you add service@splinter.net, the splinter bot will create a splinter account for you with an initial balance of $0.25 .You can make free calls for that much amount.[i guess around 5 short calls to Indian mobile phone numbers]
